This film reimagines the Book of Genesis in the digital age. It portrays the human journey through five fundamental stages—birth, growth, love, illness, and death—using exclusively archival medical footage to reconstruct and present these moments to the audience.
Director’s Biography
Abbas Hosseini (b. 1995, Iran) is a writer, filmmaker, and poet. He began his artistic journey as a teenager, writing free verse poetry, before completing filmmaking courses at the Iranian Youth Cinema Society. He later worked as an assistant director, editor, and color grader on short films. In 2022, he authored the book Literary Games: Narrative, Roots and Approaches, an effort to highlight the hidden allure of literature within the field of storytelling.
As a filmmaker, he has written and directed two short films that have been presented at renowned national and international festivals.
